Adventist

What is Adventist?

1.

Christians who believe that the return of Christ as promised in the New Testament (John 14:1-3, Matthew 24-25) is the next major event in the history of salvation. Although most Christian tradition includes this aspect, the Adventist faith is particularly related to the movement started by Baptist evangelist William Miller in the 1830s in the United States. It continues today in several denominations, but most prominently the Seventh-day Adventist Church with some 25 million adherents worldwide in 2005.
