What is Aids Sweater?

A sweater that usually features 90s color accents, including many jewel toned patterns. The AIDS sweater was sported by many during the AIDS epidemic in NYC during the 80s. Used by Tom Hanks in the movie Philadelphia. Can be purchased at your local Goodwill, and is often worn with light wash jeans.
Note: Sweater does not need to be worn by someone who actually has AIDS.
