Defensive player of the year for the St.Patrick's Fighting Irish 2000 football year, he led the team to defeat their arch-rivals QEH lions to a 51-26 win to reach the finals. It was the first time in 29 years the IRISH were able to defeat the Lions in the playoffs. His nickname was 'Tek-9'
