What is Alanize?

To be forwarded a menial task by a lazy person who's more than capable of doing it themselves. Tends to happen when you’re not available or your attention distracted elsewhere and usually results in you getting bollicked by your boss or the person the task was to be completed for.
I went for a shite and when I got back to my desk the ginger fucker had alanized me and there was a furious customer on the phone.

To publicly assign work to someone with no real authority to do so, particularly when it was obviously a task that person would've done anyway.
I just got alanized in an email to everyone by a coworker.
