A back-up waking device in feline form. Gentler when it initially goes off, but if you press the snooze bar, is subsequently harsher (depending on how hungry it is).

Alarm cat, five minutes later: MRRREEEOW...HISSSS! >CHOMP< >SCRRRRATCH<
