Gen-X male, typically age 30-40, that has found himself in the role of parent yet unable to let go of the trappings of his 'cool' indie youth. May include hipster kid that accidentally knocked up girlfriend. Often married to/living with fellow Gen-X female.

Me & the other alternadads got the weekend off and are heading to Lollapalooza next month. I'm so psyched to see Rage again!
