Is an advanced nurse with training in Anesthesiology. They are qualified to put patients to sleep in surgery and other settings requiring anesthesia.
An anesthesiologist's arch enemy and replacement. More and more hospitals are hiring them because they are just as efficient, effective, safe, and cost only half of what the doctor version makes. A position that annoys doctors, because they make as much as a family practice physician, without going to med school and sacrificing 12+ years of their life.
