Ankle Bracelet

What is Ankle Bracelet?

1.

A device that is semi-permanently attached to the ankle of someone who is under house arrest. The device communicates with a monitor installed in the wearer's home which sends a signal to the probation officer if it is not within a short distance from the monitor at specific times of the day. Typically used during level 4 probation to ensure that the wearer stays at home during prescribed hours.
