A backwards walk, sudden slowdown, seamless turn, or silent exit made when someone who's socially anorexic (shy,anxious around others) leaves a group of people in an unannounced and unnoticed way; usually when walking but not necessarily.
Jill and the others were heading towards the restaurant when suddenly she did an anorexic shuffle and disappeared.
No one noticed she was gone until they arrived there.
