Britt: "See, she doesn't like guys named Andy. So, we're going to call you Paul."
Andy: "That's stupid. Ok."

An American East Coaster's way of refering to someone as a friend, or confidant.
Bob: "Hey, Pete. Who's that guy?"
Pete: "Him? Oh, he's Apaul of mine."
