What is App State?

noun (or verb in rare cases)
A huge screw up performed by a person (esp. when "blocked" to do so). Usually hurts someones reputation. In lieu of the Sept. 1 2007, Michigan vs. Appalachian State upset.
1)George Bush's presidency is an app state

Person 2: "How's so?"
