What is Arcnet?

Short for Attached Resource Computer Network. It is a standard that defines a true star topology in which both the logical and physical topology works as a star. It uses the token passing method and runs at 2.5 megabits per second.

ARCnet is one of the oldest, simplest, and least expensive types of local-area networks.
