Trait of a person who pretends to be happy, joyful, and ridiculous in front of certain people just so that he/she can fit in. When this person shows his/her true self in front of people, he/she is presented as actually being a gloomy, pathetic, normal, boring, stern and/or scary kind of person.
That man becomes so artificial in front of people he wants to be friends with.
