What is Aston Martin?

One of Great Britain's most prestigious car makers. Aston Martin has a very impressive racing pedigree including wins in class for the original racing DB2/4 and the David Brown designed DBR1. All Aston Martin's cars are handbuilt in Gaydon England and previously were built in Newport Pagnell ending with the final DB7. Aston Martins have also been a much loved accesories for the british super spy James Bond with two Aston Martin DB5 GT's an Aston Martin DBS an Aston Martin V8 vantage and most recently the V12 vanquish.
Their current model line up includes the:
V12 Vanquish and Vanquish S
DB9 coupe and volante
and coming this fall they are reviving the classic V8 Vantage

Solid British sports car made for hard racing. Ford took it over and decided to double production by machine-producing them. American car companies always fuck up what was good about British. Aren't they satisfied with turning Vuaxhall into the shitty little things they are today?

A superb automobile company. Ford has not "ruined" them in any way. However, Vanquishes are for poseurs who think spending thousands more for a car with a worse power-to-weight ratio than the DB9 and a horrid paddle-shifted manual is the good thing to do. Of course, your average 15-year-old doesn't know that. The DB9 can be had with a proper manual transmission or a smooth paddle-shifted/full-auto AUTOMATIC, weighs less, has the same 6.0-litre V12, costs less, and is objectively a purer GT than the Vanquish. Think about it, kids.
My roommate's old man might buy an Aston Martin DB9. Jesus god!
