Atheofascism

What is Atheofascism?

1.

Atheofascism – a term associated with a radical and intolerant strand of atheism that seeks to eliminate religion immediately without trace.

Recent authors associated with this belief include Sam Harris (Letter to a Christian Nation) , Richard Dawkins (The God Delusion), and Christopher Hitchens (God is Not Great). Its adherents usually tend to categorize all religious people into one group that is characterized by the most radical and intolerant sects of religion. They also make convincing claims that religion does not have a corner on the market with morality. As a result, in an effort to formulate fascist-like rhetoric, they completely dismiss any value religion may have.

The current rise in atheofascism has done little to stem the tide of terrorism or actually do any good at all.
