What is Athlipster?

ath-LIP-ster n. hipster athlete; a hipster or blipster who plays sports ironically. Common to streetball courts in gentrified urban areas such as Brooklyn, NY and uptown Washington DC; generally acquainted with mediocrity due to bad habits like chain smoking, inadequate footwear and gear, and in extreme cases heroin use.
