What is Atikokan?

meaning "caribou bones" in Objibwe. A tiny little town of about 3000 inhabitants in the middle of nowhere.
Also known as 'the choke' or 'the canoeing capital of canada', most residents decide to stay in their beautiful fishbowl of gossip because indeed they like to fish and hunt.
Another redneck pastime is when the residents go watch jacked up trucks drive through mud at the Mudflings. It is a town tradition, and apparently the purpose is to GIT R' DONE.
