What is Aunt Harriet?

A person (usually a relative) who seems to either be drawn to (or more apt to like or take the side of) the people who are most toxic to you. Coined after Aunt Harriet from the old (Adam West) Batman series who, if she liked a fad, you can bet that it was a front for the villains.
Why are you sticking up for her after what she did to me - you are such an Aunt Harriet.
