What is Backpack Surfing?

A sport I created, similar to backpack riding, except this is done solo, a person throws their backpack across a smooth floor, and then runs and tries to jump on it, usually ending in injury.
"I'm a professional backpack surfer!"
"Oh man, did you see that guy is out from backpack surfing?"
