What is Backstroke?

A.K.A. the devils stroke. Worst stroke possible to swim, second stroke when swimming a 100,200,400,800 IM. It is the also the 1st stroke in a Medley Relay. The stroke is grueling, you have no sense of direction, and your arms need to be locked at all times. You are not permitted to glide into the flip turns.
Coach: "Ok, do a 100 backstroke on 1:30." Swimmer: "Why coach?! This is the worst stroke ever, its the devils stroke!"
