A bairn is a female who is young and willing and ready for action. They also have to be at least shaggable otherwise they
do not count as a bairn.
The collective noun for bairns is a squad (pronouced skwad), if faced by a squad of young and willing bairns it is considered tradition to shout "BAIRNS!!!" at them, and if you are in a car you should peep your horn as close as possible to them, this signals to them that they are indeed bairns/have bairn like qualities.
"yer sum bairn hiy... so ye ur"
"BAIRNS!!!!!!" *peep horn*
