What is Baker Street Irregular?
1.
Casual sex; a casual, sexual partner.
(Also known as "a 221B", after the address in BAKER STREET, London, where Sherlock Holmes had IRREGULAR, brief encounters over the years with mysterious, veiled ladies.)
From "The Strange Case of the Countess's Sporran" by Arthur Conan Doyle:
Her DOUGHNUT, warm, greasy and wet, was wedged upon Holmes's BAGUETTE; and slid down the pole, which fitted her hole, although they had only just met.
"Observe, Watson!" SHERLOCK HOLMES exclaimed, casually re-trousering his investigative instrument and sniffing a line of cocaine from the mantel-shelf. "From her mounting ability and demeanour in the saddle, I have deduced not only that Madame X is a high-born English countrywoman, with French ancestors on her mother's side, but also that she is an experienced rider with the Berkshire Hunt."
"Furthermore," he continued, filling his pipe from a large, porcelain tobacco-jar, "the untrimmed bush and absence of knickers both declare that our visitor is a member of the old aristocracy, who abhor such modern fashions."
"Indeed, a very pleasant BAKER STREET IRREGULAR," he added, nodding benignly, as the lady - evidently well-satisfied after her consultation with the great detective - straightened her hat and adjusted her dress before leaving.
"Well, you certainly did seem quite AT HOME there, HOLMES!" smiled Dr Watson, essaying one of his occasional jokes.
