a very expensive resort on Lake Champlain in vermont. preppiesmigrate here in the summer season, most belonging to families that have been coming here for generations. not many people know about it, but the regulars wouldn't have it any other way ("it keeps the nouveau crowd out").

Muffy and Biff headed off to Basin Harbor in July, where they played tennis and sailed.
