Today in the news; Texas senator and admitted beauman, Bob Johnson, was convicted of incorrectly unsing the term "gay" in reference to male friends living in the city of Cincinnati (the Queen City). Female homosexuals are known as lesbians. Male homosexuals need a specific and unique moniker as well. Beauman first used by Greg Stanforth in his book "Velvet Steak", copyright 2000 to describe a homosexual male.
