Beaversharks are an indigenous species to Pine Mountain, Georgia, and are found in the lakes of Callaway Gardens. They prefer deeper water, but occasionally can be spotted near shore, especially at dawn or dusk. They have buck teeth and a beaver tale, with a body reminiscent of a shark. Adult beaversharks can grow up to 3 feet long. Beaversharks feed on large fish and turtles, and have been known to bite human children.
Always stay inside the swim area, the beaversharks are hungry this time of day.
