What is Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad?
1.
26-episode anime and ongoing manga about a boy in Japan (Koyuki) trying to make it big with his rock band. Follows the band's ups and downs and Koyuki's gradual rise to maturity as the series progresses. A unique and fairly well down series that makes numerous references to real world music and also has an amazing original soundtrack.
"The rock music in Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad is by far my favorite anime soundtrack ever."
