What is Bed Surfer?

A semi homeless person that sleeps with people for a place to stay and someone to mooch on for a few weeks until being kicked out and moving to the next person.
Halfway between a "bed jumper" and a "sofa surfer" -- a person that shops for apartments in a local bar.
This girl was a from out of state, a bed surfer, who'd been "staying with a friend" till he kicked her out, now she was looking for someone with drugs and a place to stay. She got a little work every now and then, I'm sure some of it was in the back seat of a car.
