What is Belcoot?

A character in the game Suikoden V, released by Konami in 2006, and the latest installment in their awesome series. Belcoot is a decent character, but many people think he has a funny name, and sometimes use it to bash others online.
guy 1: Dude, you're such a Belcoot.
guy 2: Fuck yeah, Belcoot's awesome.
guy 3: Man, shut the hell up.
