What is Bell Atlantic?

Used to be a cable provider, until a merger with GTE changed its name (and quality of service) to Verizon. In the good old days before snobby representatives, disappointing service, and high prices, Bell Atlantic not only had a cool name, but was awesome.
*sigh* Verizon sucks.
