Bellman's Map

What is Bellman's Map?

1.

An item or scheme that rejects conventional wisdom, and utility along with it, as does Lewis Carroll's Bellman, whose map contains no markings whatsoever.

He wanted his guitar playing to be new and different, so he intentionally didn't learn any chords or scales. He just made a bellman's map of it.

See throwing the baby out with the bathwater, overkill
