SHOULD mean a person with a fear of pairs of items, but has come to mean the following:

a person with an irrational fear of bisexual people for which no straight person has ever had a solid reason. in this case, actions speak just as loudly as words.

"he broke up with her because she made out with one of her girlfriends. he must be a biphobe."
