What is Blue Murder?
1.
A term used in many ball games, notably games with 1 goalie where team work between the other players is required but there may be incentive to work against them. This is notable in the football variation "Headers and Volleys", where kicking the ball out of play puts that player in goal, and so if a player passes another player the ball, and the recieving player lets it out of play willingly, that is classified as blue murder and the recieving player would take the penalty of going in goal instead of the passer. It is often a judgement call.
"Haha, you kicked it out, get in goal!"
"No way man, that was blue murder, you're in goal."
