Pun (play on words) Term used in disgust to refer to Sony's latest corperate format the 'Blu-Ray' disc, used for Digital Video and Gaming content of around 25 GB. The Hardware is often seen as over-priced and inferior to the public favourite HD and HD-DVD. Many predict the same fate as Beta-Max, MiniDisc and UMD all of which existed for huge profit gain.
