n. (bobo- nahmik) self sacrificing ones own self comfort and/or dignity for the sake of saving money. Commonly referred to as bobo for short.
"Skish and Michael sure are bobonomic (or bobo) to the extreme. They decided to eat moldy cold cuts to save 60 cents on our backpacking trip to Europe."
