What is Bone The Fish?

A defining moment when you know that your favorite TV Show, Celebrity, Movie Series or Music Group has reached its peak and goes downhill. This term was coined as a dig on TV Guide when they bought the old jump the shark website, and destroyed it in February of 2009 so fans could no longer vote on shows that "Jumped the Shark". Jump the Shark Fans now refer to this corporate sell out in regards to that website "boning the fish" as well as replacing the old term "Jump the Shark" after a new website was created to celebrate the fans carrying the old JTS banner as "Bone the Fish"/p>
Damn; when Idris Alba got killed on the "Wire", that show had a "Bone the Fish" moment!
