Literally, a combination of "Booma"-an owl in arabic, and "Shank"-a rather obtuse, hairy male. The word in question is very versatile. It can be used as a noun, adjective, or verb. When used as a noun, a "Boomshank" is a person who has the qualities of being unique and ajeeb. Some have been reported to have triggered revolutions in their affiliated associations.
