The combination of two creatures in Lewis Carroll's "The Hunting of the Snark". Details are elusive on what exactly a Snarkand Boojum are, but a Boosnark is thought to be more dangerous. One should never be hunted alone.

We were hunting a Boosnark and my hunting party dissappeared with out a sound or a wisp of wind
