What is Born Ruffians?

A band of boys who were born ruffians but are now, thankfully, tame. They hail from a small town Midland, in Ontario, Canada. The band now lives in Toronto and plays local shows regularily. Luke Lalonde, Steve Hamelin and Mitch DeRosier rock out on the electric guitar, bass and drums, with the occasionnal random percussion or trombone.
They play an awesome, very original indie rock style and have said that they sound like pre-punk new-wave dance-folk love-making...with guitar.
