What is Bowdge?

Any situation during which one is forced to do something they would rather not do. This includes any number of things, but is most often used in the context of a laboratory.

Also an adjective describing one's ridiculous mannerisms or demands - usually those of an authority figure.

Bowdgery is also an acceptable variation of bowdge.

Pronounced bowj (like bow but with the juh sound on the end)

Damn man this is complete bowdgery; I legitimately thought that test was next week.

He's being such a bowdge. I can't believe he won't let us have the party at his parent-less house.
