What is Boyspaces?

n. short for 'boy' space 'friends' the word is meant as an alternative to saying boyfriends which has romantic or sexual connotations and when said as, "boyfriends," could be taken to mean that you are a player when in fact you are not.
"Yeah, Tim and Roger are just boyspaces."
"We had a bunch of boyspaces over last night and shared a couple drinks."
