What is Bracketry?

1.

n. A non-existent branch of mechanical engineering that gets little respect; the science and technology associated with designing brackets. Often considered an art form.

Stan: Matt, what do you think of this design?

Matt: I like it, but the bracketry could use some tweaking - it seems like there might be an interference.
