At this year's Braemar Highland Games, local performer Willie McDaid did the deed with a series of ardent lady admirers, all of whom expressed themselves well-satisfied with his caber-wielding skills.
"Outa-this-world!" enthused Bella, a tourist from Texas. "That guy sure made the earth move for me. Ah've wrestled with some mighty big long-horns where ah come from, but ah never saddled one like that afore. Like, ramrod rodeo! Ah'm aimin' tah come agin next year - yessiree!"
A true BRAEMARTIAN indeed, was the general consensus.
