A relationship in which one member becomes obsessed with their partner, but neither receive any sort of sexual pleasure deriving from the other. One party, usually the female, soon (or later) realizes the relationship is going nowhere and attempts to break it off, sending the opposite party spiraling into fits of delusion and paranoia with no real purpose in life.
When somebody begins repeatedly exclaiming "I love <insert partner's name here>!" on a regular basis, it's a sure sign that you've got a brandyn and sophia on your hands. Intervention may be helpful or required as soon as possible.
Interchangeable with "massive waste of time".
