"BRIC" is a political term used to name the worlds four fastest growing economies which are Brazil,Russia,India and china.The term was thought up by Goldman Sachs in 2003 to argue the economic potential of Brazil,Russia,India,and China and their global importance in the near future.

Extended terms for BRIC are BRIMC (Mexico) ,BRICS (South africa)and BRICET (Eastern European nations and Turkey)

A short hand version of spelling brick, which is a block of ceramic material used in masonry construction, usually laid using mortar. It was recently chosen as a resolution in Public Forum for Speech and Debate.

Resolved: That, on balance, the rise of Brazil, Russia, India, and China (BRIC) has had a positive impact on the United States.

Debater: 'hello judge and persons.'
