What is Briefadavit?

When an attorney makes a submission to the court combining the legal argument of a brief and the facts of an affidavit.

Courtroom Deputy: "Can you believe it, the lawyer said he was filing a briefadavit." Law Clerk: "Yeah, I'd like to see him call it that on the cover page submitted to the judge."
