South London district. Very close to central London with a market and some popular clubs and well-known live venues. Last stop on the Victoria line and a good place to see blacks in a majority in London. OK part of town, but nothing special. Considered dangerous by white teenagers in Watford and outer wherever but it is'nt, at least not during the day. Has a nice little free skatepark. Always seems hotter than the rest of the city.

Some asshole says that Brixton is really dangerous, and that theres no green space ("the only grass is the dried kind"). Well, thats bullshit: there is one area of grass outside the Ritzy Cinema, and another outside that churchy type building. In addition to this, Brockwell Park is also within walking distance of Brixton.

Brixton is a tiny bit more dangerous than other places in London, but you certainly dont get shot on the high street for no reason, especially in the daytime. Its also great for getting weed!!!!

Some arsehole says that Brixton isn't that much more dangerous than other parts of London. Perhaps that arsehole should consider getting off the weed and read some police statistics for Lambeth. Start at Cold Harbour Lane having the dubious distinction of being statistically the most dangerous street in the U.K. and move on from there.
