Unofficial Navigational Aid used in Lower Florida Keys, usually a pvc pipe stuck in a shallow mud banks edge. Locals are known as Bubbas and place the pvc pipes (bubba sticks) as reference points to help them navigate around shallow areas and not harm the protected seagrass beds.

Proceed north towards the small island, as channel narrows keep the bubba sticks to your port side.
