Origin: Budface contains the prefix 'Bud' which is an Hispanic/African-American slang term that refers to the actual blooming buds of the opium filled cannibus plant. The suffix 'face' stems from the latin term "fac" meaning fully engulfed in or identifying the head portion of the body. Therefor when these two terms are brought together they form the noun Budface which has been used to replace the less frequently used terms such as buddhahead or pothead."
