What is Buntism?

The phenomenon where a (usually older) Western male is involved in a sexual relationship with a (usually younger) woman of S.E. Asian origin.
Based on the character of Bunt in the Paul Theroux novel, Kowloon Tong, who is involved in such a relationship.
Often just said as a single word, possibly to imply an inappropriate relationship - (whispered) "Buntism".
