What is Burn Delay?

A set amount of time allotted to a person in order to respond to a burn; usually five seconds, though varies with the audience; can be used to determing how snappya person is.

Joe: BURN!!

Bob(10 seconds later): Yeah well...

Joe: Nope, you missed the burn delay.
